The Knysna 500SE, designed by renowned architect Angelo Lavranos, is a state-of-the-art blue water catamaran built in Knysna, South Africa. Built in 2023, it offers the latest technology and exceptional features. The 3-cabin version has three double berths, with the generous cabins offering plenty of space and storage space. She is equipped with a fully equipped galley, spacious bathrooms and an open saloon with direct access to the cockpit – perfect for relaxing moments on the water. Of particular note is their versatile equipment, ideal for blue water cruising: powerful solar panels, generator, water purifier, Garmin navigation system, high-quality sails from Northsails and a dinghy. It also has a large refrigerator, air conditioning and generous tank capacities that ensure comfort and convenience on long journeys. The Knysna 500SE offers excellent sailing characteristics, stability and safety. The perfect choice for long-haul cruising, she combines speed, comfort and thoughtful equipment for demanding blue-water sailors. Specially designed for single-handed ocean travel, this three-cabin version is fully equipped for self-sufficient life at sea. The Swiss owner couple sailed 15,000 miles in the Indian Ocean and have now decided to hand over their dream catamaran to the next proud owners. The asking price is about 20% lower than that of a new Knysna 500SE.
